Foster Calgary supports and trains foster parents to care for children in need. Our program is designed to provide children with a stable, loving foster parent until they can be reunited with their birth families. We support foster children, making sure their unique emotional, educational and physical needs are being met.
The Calgary Region Foster & Kinship Association is a not-for-profit association dedicated to providing support for foster and kinship parents in Calgary and the surrounding areas of Airdrie, Banff, Black Diamond, Bragg Creek, Canmore, Chestermere, Claresholm, Cochrane, Exshaw, Okotoks, Strathmore, and Vulcan.
The Calgary Region Foster & Kinship Association is responsible for:
Providing training and mentoring to new foster parents
Organizing activities for children in care and their foster families
Screening and recruiting new foster parents
